The main difference between Comus and TGPX is:
TGPX can only setup thumbs by the table. You can cheat and do 1x1 tables for customization but gets tedious and will probably cause problems on some designs.
Comus can customize macros per thumb. Big thumb, small thumb, new, best, random, etc thumbs can go basically anywhere in your design.
