It was 1933 for Christ's sake! A lot of people supported the National Socialist German Workers' Party at that time -- no one really knew Hitler was that bad of a dude, even the Jews living in Germany at the time. If this picture was taken anytime after 1939 then yes, there would be questions to answer.
