i'm not looking at things in hindsight.
there is plenty in the book that could raise several red flags at that time or any time when looked in companion with the rise of the Nazi party and it's already declared views on Jews by 1933, a full decade + into the rise of the Nazis. And it's not a secret at all that Prince Edward was a Hitler fan.
