They are making it sound like the racist would appreciate the kind gesture.

I'm pretty sure the generous act by the cop didn't even phase the racist. The second this guy gets a rope and no one's looking, I bet he would hang this cop in a heartbeat. Racists are set to hate non-whites till the day they dies especially when the person is old like him. Old people are set in their ways.

I have no agenda here for either side, just think people are naive if they think a nice gesture like this would ever make a difference.
