Hey, I am in complete agreement. I think John Kerry was a hero. Especially when he came back and tossed his medals and testified before Congress about some of the atrocities that happened in the Vietnam War.
That was the kind of thing that Bush used AGAINST him.
But strangely...nobody told Bush to get out of the race or to apologize to Kerry and every veteran in the world.
THAT is my point Tony.
Not whether you think John McCain is some kind of hero or not.
I'm talking about the media having a double standard.
When Franken makes fun of McCain it's just a joke. When Trump fires back the exact same words that Franken used after McCain had already launched a political attack... Oh My Fucking GOD! Trump must drop out. Trump must apologize.
Same thing when Bush attacked Kerry. It was all fair game politically.
But when Trump does it to McCain about his service? It's a fucking capital crime according to the media.
You see...both Bush and Franken are accepted by the 2 ruling parties. They can both be controlled. Trump can't.
And it just bothers me to see the media blatantly doing this and people accepting it.
And not only accepting it...but instead of even talking about the media and what they are doing...the discussion just keeps going back to how some of you don't like Trump.
Who cares? I don't like him either. But I don't care who you don't like. Just like you don't care who I don't like. And we don't care who crockett doesn't like.
Only our egos cause us to feel the urge to tell people our OPINIONS.
I'm talking about a different thing here. I'm talking about the media working hand in hand with the Republican and Democrat parties to decide who is going to be the next president.
All you have to do is watch the Presidential debates in the general election.
The MEDIA decides that ONLY Republican and Democratic candidates can even participate by putting a number on polls that any candidate has to reach.
Think about that.
Other party's don't have a prayer because they don't ever get all the free publicity that the Repubs and Dems get from the media. So nobody knows they exist or what their views on the issues are.
We are kept ignorant.
And I can't tell you for certain WHO the next President is. But I can bet you it will be either a Democrat or a Republican.
We have no other choices apparently.
