It's worth noting that in some regions, people were able to link their credit cards to their Paypal accounts well before 2003.

I am totally aware of when Paypal began working with Epoch. I use them as one of my billers.
I am also cognizant that when a company is splitting off, changes are made before the actual split in anticipation of that split. Slow changes so as to not "rock the boat"
And I was unaware that anyone was able to link their credit cards to Paypal back then. Not saying it isn't true. Just saying that I wasn't aware of it.
Do you know of any link that you could show me that shows when Paypal first began using credit cards? And can you explain why the "risk" was and is still fine with credit cards but for some reason was NOT fine for Paypal for the duration of their ownership by Ebay?
You're really not giving me any info. You're just telling me what you think. Which is pretty much all I'm doing too.
We need some facts man to straighten this mystery out!
