I read that he used a bow and arrow to shoot the poor animal before tracking him down and killing him. What pain and suffering Cecil the lion must've endured before finally losing his life. I can think of so many expletive to hurl to this man (including the corrupt park ranger) but I guess it ain't enough to inflict the suffering and pain back to him.
Without Cecil, his offsprings are in real danger and will likely be killed by rival lions. What a sad, sad cycle of pain and suffering.
