I think Einstein, Lenin, and Marx were all correct in theory.
And if human beings wouldn't be corrupt and greedy then yeah...socialism and communism would definitely work great.
But look around you. Do you honestly believe that people would work together correctly for a greater good?
And just look at what happened to countries that embraced communism. Their leaders lived in golden palaces while the people themselves lived in tatters.
Even though politics and economics were not Einstein's strong suit, I can not argue with one of the smartest guys to ever walk the Earth.
I would suggest he wasn't taking human nature into account though.
