What Is Meet Market?
Presented by EroAdvertising QWEBEC Expo's MeetMarket is one of our flagship networking initiative designed to match suppliers' innovative Projects, Services & Products with prospective clients in the community.
This year's MeetMarket takes place on Saturday August 8th 2015 from 11:00 to 13:00h in Ballroom hall. If you're already a Booth or Showcase Table exhibitor, this is an event you don't want to miss since the meet market happens directly in the middle of the Show Floor.
MeetMarket is a flexible format of pitching that can accommodate all kinds of companies, service or product suppliers. All the action takes place in an 'Flea Market Like' environment when everybody can meet everybody, which allows you to get straight into creative business discussions.
In 2014 we hosted 36 companies from 16 countries for our MeetMarket.
GET MORE BUSINESS FAST - Meet Market works like a 'Flea Market' - You make lots of new business contacts!
Bring along ...
- Plenty of business cards and some of your literature
- Notepad and pen
- A one minute synopsis of who you are, and what's your business
- Some fun/useful Swags are highly recommended (we can help you on this)
Get your "Elevator Pitch" ready!
So you can make the most of your time at our event, we have prepared a few ideas to help you get your pitch just right. Its not difficult, all you have to do is give a little thought to each of these aspects.
- Know your business, and know it well;
- Be able to describe what you do and who you do it for in a few clear sentences; and
- Know what you want and need from networking and what you have to offer.
- Collect as many business cards as possible (raffle draw work great with this)
- No need to give away an high priced item, an Ipod Nano or anything cool in the $150-200 range is great and will attract lots of leads
Also do follow up contacts even if you think they are not going to result in a lead right away. Building a large network means things are much more likely to click into place for you and your business a little way down the line.
