Were Hiroshima & Nagasaki legitimate military targets? Absolutely.
Did the war need an "ending"? Yes.
Do innocent civilians suffer because of the aggression of their political leaders? All the time.
I've always been more embarrassed as an American of the treatment of US citizens of Japanese descent during WW2 here in the US. Property taken away and imprisonment in interment camps - and nary a crime committed.
Amazing how in 70 years we went from stripping US citizens of their basic rights to establishing "Sanctuary Cities" for illegal aliens. I guess some call that progress.
