These days...Citizens that identify as Democrats will only vote for a Democrat and citizens that identify as Republicans will only vote for a Republican.
Doesn't matter who the nominee is for either party in that respect. Team sports politics for the sheeple.
The only votes that matter are that small percentage of truly independent people who don't identify with either party.
If they like the Republican candidate as they did with Bush, they will swing the election that way.
If they like the Democrat candidate as they did recently with Clinton and Obama, they will swing the election that way.
It's pretty sad. Our political system needs to be shaken up. I'm hoping that Trump and Sanders can at the very least scare the shit out of the behind the scenes party leaders of the 2 ruling Partys.
