yes opiates can be addictive but if you have chronic pain you have to weigh it out.
When I broke my leg i had withdrawals like a serious flu for 3-4 days then it was over....fortunately opiate withdrawal is short all in all to me the withdrawals were worth it as they will be this time...though im told using the kratom will make them either non existent or a lot easier just dont get hooked on the kratom which can be mildly addictive

I stopped taking it on Monday and feel better no idea why i get a headache with them im taking panadol/codeine/asprin daily and seems to help but not as good as Tramadol. Its for knee pain and doc does not seem interested in trying anything else he told me to get Voltaren but that makes it hurt worse. I get my mri back in a few days so hopefully doc will be able to give me something better.
