and more on the way. Electric has more energy than Diesel, and considering the larger size and extra space for batter placement, EV trucks make a lot of sense.
If goods and produce were shipped around the country in EV trucks it might lower the cost of those items.
Thankfully there are advancements in EV technology pretty often now so maybe soon, those truckers will be riding along on electrons instead of Carbons. 10-4 good electric buddy!

Would need the battery capacity to achieve the 500-800 mile range before any company would wanna add electric trucks to their fleet as a short range would create a backup of 48-53 foot trailers on an highway oasis ramp waiting to recharge which would block you from recharging your volt and refreshing yourself with an earth friendly beverage.
How fast is the recharge? Not gonna pay a guy $20-$30+ to sit there for 30-60 minutes considering there is already an 11 hour driving time regulation which could possibly be reduced in the future so don't have 30-60 minutes to waste as truck drivers are already in short supply and continuing to get worse...

Canadian Volt drivers should probably foot 99.9% of it.
