The money they do get from the government can't be used for abortions.
I don't have any problem giving them money. Are they doing some shady things? Perhaps. I think we will find out more about that in the near future, but there are a lot of people that go there to get free birth control. The Guttmacher Institute reports that the number of abortions in this country has dropped quite a bit. In 1990 there were 1.6 million abortions. In 2011 that number had dropped to 1 million.
I am all for preventing people from getting pregnant so they don't end up getting abortions and I think Planned Parenthood does a lot of that.
