Will free porn kill production of mainstream porn production?

That's the question. Let's say it costs $2,000 to make a porn scene. That's 200 sign ups @ $10 profit to pay for production. One scene a day = 73,000 sign ups a year.

That's already killed off a lot, As the drought continues, the pool gets smaller, the fish eventually die off and nothing left but the bugs.

PS before anyone throws out sites doing 73,000 sign ups a week. Scale everything up. there are lot of sites, lots of free sites and it's already killed production. And continuing to.
Based on the video, the Mindgeek don't just host tube, it produces porn. So, as mentioned before (by me), the subscription model is not the only income model. Mindgeek gets income from both subscriptions and from ad revenue.

But I have quite easy solution to internet piracy, at least in the form of tubes and similar user driven sites: no anonymous uploading and if you upload content illegally, you will be held responsible. All that requires is a law that requires content sites to verify the people who upload content to those. Wadda ya say?

Please don't tell me that porn industry doesn't have some lobbying organization.
