When I joined xlovecam.com in 2010 I instituted a cookie policy of last referral in is the 'winner' except in the case of that referral having registered as a member, in which case the referral would be 'owned' for rev-share purposes by the original referrer.
We set a referral cookie that is good for 10 years in theory (if not deleted by the client/user or overwritten by a subsequent referrer).
There is no cookie issue at xlovecam.com ... If that referral registers as a member, whether he has made a purchase or not, he is your rev-share forever ...
