1) I use them and am pretty happy about their cheap servers and bandwidth.
2) Don't order any server with Ensim or Plesk if you don't know what that is or don't need it. Order a server with plain Linux OS.
3) You have to know to handle your server yourself. Don't rely on Rackshack.
4) Install your own firewall and DNS on that server.
5) Get your RedHat membership to keep your software up to date.
