I am watching Trump talking on CNN right now as I write this, and he is killing me.
Trump seems to believe that he can make something happen by saying it - and people believe it. He said "I am going to make us rich again". That sounds great - but how is he going to do this? Unemployment is at 5.3% and it's not going to get much better than that. Does Trump have a plan to make our economy better than it is now?
Right now he is doing his bit about how they are building factories in Mexico. He is talking about trade agreements but what Trump completely fails to understand is that he cannot just make up an agreement and make it happen. Private business might work that way, but politics does not. I think he is in for a surprise. (He just said "Illegals are going to be driving new cars across the boarder". Huh?)
I love it when he talks about his plan for the border. He claims he wants build a wall with our border with Mexico. Great. A recent report on CNN said it would $700 billion to double the wall we currently have, which isn't working right now. If it was a simple matter of spending $700 billion and building a wall we would have one it right now. But we aren't going to spend $700 billion, and even if we do it won't be effective.
Trump just said "No one can buy me" but wasn't it just announced he was courting donors the other day?
Every night I pray that Palin will sign up as his running mate, and I pray that they win. It will make the best television ever. I can't wait to see him serve fast food at his first state dinner like he said earlier today.
