Pete. I use a solution that uses a combination of filtering through multiple blocklists(like SPEWS) selectable by the user and additionally a Regex (filter). I had to customize the Regex filter to allow the sexually oriented words given that I want my TGP confirmations and sponsor email. Their are mutiple filters/plugins that may be added to the program making it more powerful.
This program runs on your email client and integrates nicely into Outlook Express. Check out
SPAMPAL It stuffs about 98% of spam into a seperate folder for easy screening and deletion. It is a FREE solution and the best I've seen.
I also endorse the SPEWS, SBL, and SpamCop, Osirusoft block lists. The fact that the lowlife spammers on this board complain bitterly about these services is evidence that they work..
