Exactly. They will arrest him and detain him for a little bit, and then be released with police protection since the only proof they probably have of him murdering anyone is hear-say and heavily edited videos that may or may not be special effects. There will be threats and stuff so he won't be able to work. He will get free housing and be supported by welfare, and he MIGHT be found guilty and go to jail a few years later after several appeals by his ISIS funded lawyers.
No one is gonna kill him... If we're lucky he might get hit by a stray bullet in Syria, but I doubt they put him anywhere near the front line as he's too valuable as a spokes-person. It serves their agenda to keep him alive, because it shows the UK public that ANYONE there could be a murderer and that they are never safe - the very definition of terrorism.
