This just shows you have no idea and are most likely American as they are the only nationality that would twist the numbers like that.
Gun control works, anyone who wants a gun in Australia can get one, its just hard for the would be criminals or those with mental health issues, or those who need one "today" so they can use it... It certainly does not stop gun crime but it does stop the vast majority of it.
The carrying of a hand gun, having one for "protection", having one for the house, one for the car and one for the wife.. was NEVER legal here, that's just USA stupidity.
The situation you have in the USA is insane why anyone there defends guns at all is mind-blowing literary
And sadly from an outsider looking in, it seems that the USA is unfolding in to civil war again, slowly but surly the seeds are being sewn.
