I brought up charging because "hate crime" is a legal term. You said it is not "acknowledged" that this was a hate crime. The only body that can officially and unanimously acknowledge a hate crime is the government. And the government does not charge dead people with crimes.
If you want to general public to acknowledge this as a hate crime good luck with that, because the general public never agrees 100% on anything.
