With hurricane rated windows, doors and a roof I feel comfortable except for the fact that homeowners on the lake across the street have kept the height of the water way too high.
Never flooded since I moved into this house in 1993. I am staying here in FL just in case. I am insured up the ass - including flood insurance, but like everyone else have massive deductibles.
I have been through one flood in my life. Never want to have to experience that again.
