I love that show so much and will watch almost anything those three guys do, but a huge part of Top Gear's appeal was in the production. The way they were filmed, the music and style was almost as important as the hosts.
A lot of shows try to copy that style and it never works. It looks like a cheap Youtube car show when done incorrectly. Even American Top Gear can't duplicate the production value of the original, and I bet they spent a lot of money trying. Forget about how annoying the American hosts are... that's another discussion.

The further away they get from the original format, the less money Amazon will make.
It has to be racist, sexist, ageist and insult anyone they decide to. Or it's another car show about cars.
