I don't really support the death penalty, but how is it cruel and unusual punishment? I think cruel and unusual punishment is when you slowly kill someone by hanging them by their thumbnails and then pulling their limbs out one at a time.
Putting someone to sleep or a bullet to the head is hardly cruel or unusual punishment.
