Thanks for the feedback guys. The images are mostly a programming exercise but they do have some benefits. Unlike manually created images which may be more hassle to create and maintain than they are worth, these images are dynamically generated on each page load. This permits real time automatic updates of the auction details in first post, such as time left and bids received and manual updates without having to make additional posts. It also allows users to manipulate what the images display such as sorting the domains and showing/hiding bidders.
