Sanctuary Cities are a violation of federal law, period. If we fly they want to take our shoes off, yet a terrorist can walk across the border. Why do we spend millions on homeland security when our southern border is open? Becoming a citizen should be hard, why? because it's worth it. To become a Mexican citizen is harder. So yes, we need to finish the wall, we should have done it a long time ago.

here's an article where they say the cost of illegal immigrants in California is over 10 billion a year, this article was in 2004, we have more illegal aliens now.

Illegal aliens cost California billions - Washington Times

So I would say it would be a positive for California's economy!
Never accused you of doing anything illegal.

Citizenship should be hard to obtain? Is that the principle this country was founded on? I don't think so.

And an article for you...
Careful What You Wish For: Here?s What California Would Look Like Without Illegal Immigrants - The Daily Beast

"A recent report by researchers at the University of Southern California, for example, says immigrants who are in California illegally make up nearly 10 percent of the state?s workers and contribute $130 billion annually to its gross domestic product."
"The study found that the estimated 2.6 million immigrants who are living in California illegally account for as much as 38 percent of the agriculture industry. Farming insiders put the figure at over 50 percent. Illegal immigrants also constitute at least 14 percent of the construction industry. You?ll also find them well represented in the hospitality industry, landscaping industry, and just about every other line of work in the state that requires breaking a sweat."
