You raise a good point. The ESSENCE of Christianity is LOVE. Loving others. Seeking others before one's self. Sadly, self-righteous self-professed Christians who try to use the STATE to impose their morality on others are the worst witnesses for real Christianity. Real Christianity is rooted in transformative love. Condemnation doesn't save. Love (through the grace of God) does.

Sadly, this is lost in translation. No wonder so many people have a distorted view of God-those who profess to speak for Him let their SELVES get in the way of the true message. They seem fixated on homosexuality. There are tons of sins listed in the Bible, why just focus on homosexuality?
