Emailed, although NATS and all our stuff uses mysql as well (albiet you could swap it for mariadb or percona for instance). We can talk more about your needs and exactly why you feel mysql isn't right for you - but most performance issues with mysql can be resolved by changing the db structure, changing the queries, adding indexes etc... It's possible to use mysql with something like sphinx as well.
