Richard “Benedict Arnold” Cheney was not just the absolute worst thing to happen to America, he was also a traitor that should be tried, convicted and put to death for treason.
He led the charge calling for the invasion of Iraq, based on the misleading claim that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction, and so what if they did?
Would they have used them on us? We would have annihilated them and they knew it.
They were at war with Iran; a country in the region that we knew for sure was developing WMD’s, whose chants are “Death to Americans” and declared that they our arch enemy.
It is also strongly suspected that he cut a monetary deal with Iran to invade Iraq because Iran was afraid if we supported Iraq the same way Russia was supporting them, the results could be devastating.
Be that as it may he still owes the American people an explanation as to why he would assist a country that basically declared war on them,
but he can’t do that and the reason why he cant is because it was never out of concern for humanity it was all about greed.
Financially the cost of the nearly decade-long Iraq war to the American people will go on for years, but there are companies that made money off that war.
The number one recipient is Houston-based energy-focused engineering and construction firm KBR, Inc. which was spun off from its parent, oilfield services provider Halliburton Co. and Cheney, just happens to be chief executive officer of the company,
They were given $39.5 billion in Iraq-related contracts, and many of the deals given without any bidding from competing firms, including a $568-million contract renewal in 2010 to provide housing, meals, water and bathroom services to soldiers, a deal that led to a Justice Department lawsuit over alleged kickbacks.
This is why that Benedict Arnold scumbag must be held accountable and tried for treason.
