Hah, good eye. Yes and no. The B-52s are easily one of my favorite rock bands, period.

But I don't dislike R.E.M. at all. Certainly you would have to agree that Stipe's singing style is not the most clear and coherent. That's not a bad thing at all. But it is there. I could make jokes about the B-52s too, given the opportunity.

It was really more of a joke than anything really. Maybe if L-Pink didn't hog all the jokes some others jokes could stand a chance.
