No it's all about calories intake and burned. You can go eat shit McDonnalds everyday and not get fat as long as you burn off the excess calories.. Of course eating unhealthy is not going to be good for you long term, but it alone will not make you fat. Lack of exercise or lack of burning the excess calories each day is what makes you fat.
I don't eat as healthy as I should but I'm not fat.. Why? Because I'm very active, I usually walk 5 to 10 miles a day and often bike another 5 or more. I also drink a lot of water which helps increase your metabolism.
