Interesting to see mention of Roxxxy - I remember a lot of buzz about that a few years ago. Many people, myself included, were sceptical of the claims that the robot was able to have meaningful and human-like conversations with its owner. According to the Wikipedia page, it has been more than 5 years since it was introduced and pre-orders were taken, but none seem to have shipped yet.
4000 pre-orders at $7k to $9k each is a lot of coin.
