Any spanish residents here, or europeans who use deutsche bank? My bro in spain is starting to get USD checks, he put a couple in the other day (he is with deutsche bank) for the first time, got stung with a ?30 fee *and* a 6 week wait...

Here in the UK we can get checks negotiated so they clear the next day, anything similar in spain, and/or with deutsche bank? Any pointers greatly appreciated, thanks

ps He isn't earning enough yet to warrant getting wires btw, these are all going to be minimum payout $100 or so checks from various sponsors.
