Same can be done with visual copywritten material by mirroring the video horizontally.
That doesn't prevent those companies from manually sending out copyright notices, though.
As far as I know, The sound searching algo combats the tone or pitch change. When the claims comes through you have multiple options. YOu can accept it. You can push it back and say fair use, which can be won, or you premeditate it and get alternate audio before releasing it.

Colmike... I started off in this thread saying you couldnt be more wrong... I was wrong in saying that. let me rephrase that. You've been right about everything you've said... except it would seem that your knowledge of the system is about 5 or 6 years old. Almost all point you make were at one time in play, but its much more organized and tolerant of these issues you bring up.
