Years ago, I met this guy (he was to be the best man in the wedding of my at-the-time girlfriends very good friend) and we ended up hanging out together over the course of a long weekend. Basically, he told me he was a hitman, and he liked me so if I ever wanted somebody killed to give him a call and he would do it for free. I thought he was bull-shitting me, but was informed later that that was indeed what he did (not in so many words, of course), and if he made the offer then he was absolutely serious about it.
