The Israelis have long ago given on up any agreement with the Palestinians. Israel is not the only country in the region to have problems with the Palestinians - Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Syria all have found the Palestinians impossible.
Gaza proved that peace for land doesn't work because the Palestinians get the land and Israel gets no peace. Until a Palestinian leader can get broad support for a peace without a right to return there never will be peace with the Palestinians.
