There is a difference between sport shooters and semi auto hunting rifles.
Sport shooters use "sport rifles" which are really assault rifles that are not fully automatic. I don't care what you call them; An assault rifle is an assault rifle period. Call it anything you want, but an AR15 is an assault rifle no matter what want to call it.

No one in the United States thinks our military would turn against us, and in the even they do all of the firearms we have will not come close to matching up to what our military has.
