America didn't call anyone's bluff. Russia is doing exactly what they are expected to do. Our goal is to defeat ISIS and remove Assad. Their goal is to keep Assad in power.

We just don't agree with their goals.

The United States needs to stay out of this. We have a habit of removing leaders we do not like and making bad situations worse.
