I agree completely with you it's tough that's why we can't be totally sure. The EFF does a good job auditing VPN's and they have some open source ones that can be effectively safe. but as you said, what if the EFF is in their pocket too

Hey at least we made the LEO officers in this country work for a living again LOL, they had gotten so lazy it was sad.
As to the guy who posted above, we work in pornography or most of us do so we do need to be a bit more careful than most when it comes to security. Imagine if Jeb Bush or someone like that or ted cruz were to get in the white house. Then you'd effectively be out of business or at in jail if you stayed in the US. Just remember Ben franklin; those that give up a little bit of liberty for security deserve neither. Or I think that is how it goes
