You forgot that Russia has the most advanced rocket technologist on this planet. How many US astronauts were killed by Russian-made rockers (the only rockets you are using now to get to the space)? The answer is ZERO. How many US astronauts were killed by the US-made rockets? Man, your country had 6 shuttles and two of them have blown out and killed all their crews. It's a fuckin' 33% of failures. And you are talking about Russian missiles? Be sure, those will not fail. Russia is the only country that can launch a satellite (or a nuke) from a truck or a usual train wagon... Can you imagine a train wagon with an ICBM launch system inside?
Watch it at 1:08 and you will very VERY surprised - that's not some hand-made rocket. That's ICBM with a power of 500 Hiroshmas which can reach any point on the Earth's surface ;)
