Totally agree, carbs have their place if you have an active lifestyle

I find it depressing that we are supposed to be the most intelligent species on this planet, as a collective we're fucking retarded. Junk food should probably have a warning label on it similar to the labels on cigarettes, in the future we'll look back at this period in history as another major face palm moment

You know there are posters on this forum who claim it's all a big conspiracy from big pharmacy etc Truth is it's just sheer laziness and people love to make excuses for their problems. It enrages me that as a civilisation we've reached a point where we no longer have personal responsibility, no one's to blame for their own problems anymore. Totally agree with you!

That's interesting I did not know that

It's amazing how much process food still has some form of hydrogenated oils in them. If people want to stay fit and healthy they shouldn't eat any junk food or processed foods, of coarse that'll never happen because it's highly addictive.
A whole host of studies have found that vegetable oils become unstable when cooked at high temperatures and become carcinogenic. Of coarse most processed/junk food contains vegetable oil

What is worse, is helping people with diet and nutrition. It is EXACTLY like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares or Bar Rescue or something like that. A person is crying... they are losing it. They are losing everything. They want help. They beg for help. They know they NEED help. Then you start talking about the changes to be made and instantly all you get back is resistance, agitation, combativeness etc. You literally have to break that person down just as Gordon Ramsey does or you won't get through to them.

Yep couldn't agree more, it's herd mentality from brainwashing the majority through misinformation. No different than methods used in politics, religion etc
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."
Sad but true
Have you ever tried cold shower therapy? I've been reading about this quite a bit over the past year, the research is at an early stage but it's some really interesting shit if they can substantiate the benefits they are claiming cold shower therapy can help with.
The research on increasing brown fat that burns calories vs white fat that stores calories is very interesting.
