I have travelled the world. I have gone through so many customs lines I could not even begin to count them. I have been searched a few times and singled out for questioning around a dozen times.
But in comparison to how much I have travelled, I am not even searched or singled out 1% of the times. I am white and have the luxury of carrying one of the most respected passports in the world. The blacks, hispanics, asians and middle easterners I have travelled with get singled out around 30% of the times.
I am just very thankful that I do not have to deal with that, I could never have done all that travelling had I been searched so often. In fact, one employer told me that a big reason I was even contracted was due to my passport and being white, because he knew what problems could arise otherwise.
