Fail. What kids 'need' to learn is appropriate behaviour, and reasoning behind it, not just a carte blanche 'because this person in authority said so'. Just like kids push boundaries and will take a mile if you give them an inch, so will those in authority. The evidence is clear on both sides of that, anywhere you care to look, so it shows how well that's gone. Mindlessly doing anything someone says just because they are in a position of authority is about the dumbest shit you can do as a person with a brain and critical thinking.

I am talking about this standalone comment only. Obviously if someone has a gun to your head and tells you to do something, you need to do it (within reason), but advocating that people from a young age are to blindly do what you are ordered to as some kind of gospel is a load of bollocks.
