I like how the average Joe Republican thinks.
Let's say there is a guy making $50,000 a year with two kids and a wife working part time for $12,000. His dumb ass actually listens to somebody like Trump who tells him Bernie is only out to tax him. In reality Bernie would leave this Joe dirt guy alone, or perhaps cost him $500 more a year, but he'd give the guy benefits like actually funding his kid's school by taxing Trump $250,000 more per year. Which sounds like a lot. But is only 1% of Trump's yearly wage. Just like it's only 1% for Joe dirt.
But no... Instead of having a better education for his kids he's going to side with Trump. Then, while President, Trump makes union busting job #1. Now Joe dirt makes $32,000 a year doing the same fucking job. Only now he also has to pay his own dental, health and retirement.
So who taxed who more?
And that my friends is the Rush Limbaugh effect. You tell a lie to people enough times during their morning commutes and they'll vote you into office so you can own them.
