Russia does, however, get more leeway in what they consider targets. Nobody expects them to be doing "good." Nobody gives a shit what they do. The alliance on the other hand, is at the "top" and being watched with a magnifying glass.

seems extremely exaggerated to claim that beginning on day 1 of the air campaign. having to setup ops, sort objectives and fly those all instantaneously seems like a bold claim only military spin doctors spin. just like the ones told to BO and the American people about how our air campaign was doing in Syria
either way, the move by BO seems a reactionary move to Ruskies.
