Are they being sent there to die? To drum up support for a ground invasion?
Or will they accidentally-on-purpose be sent to an area that's a likely target for Russian bombers, to make the Russians look like the bad guys for fighting ISIS?
Either way, I feel sorry for those people being sent. And I hope they survive that shithole.
Anyone remember when we went into Kuwait, blew the shit out of the Iraqi army, and left with mission accomplished in like a week? Those glory days are long gone. Any Middle-Eastern military operation the U.S. has been involved in after Kuwait has been nothing short of a total clusterfuck.
