That's odd; I didn't read any articles that implied Russia was making the United States their bitch.
The truth is this is a Russian problem. Syria has always been in the Russian sphere of influence. It's stunning that Russia allowed this go on for so long without taking action. Putin is all about "taking action" and is trying to give off the impression that the government is strong and it's military is strong. You would think Putin would have been all over this.
How would Russia sending in it's military into a country it's dominated for decades make the United States into Russia's bitch?
From a military standpoint, this is stunning. Russia and the United States will both have military forces operating in combat roles in the same country. From a political stand point this is stupid and dangerous - We have different goals in Syria, and Russia if fighting forces are supporting.
We need to stay out of this mess.
