When the Republicans win, or maybe they will not this time around but will have a decent fight because the Democratic pool is just as shit whether you want to admit it or not, you will throw on your rose-colored glasses once again and throw out another bizarre excuse. "The only won because of this and that."
Elections go back and forth and they have for centuries. There have always been "because of this" scenarios. Assuming the Democrats are going to win is exactly why they will not be a shoo-in.
