According to the local news, some additional
SA-22 Greyhound and
SA-17 Grizzly (AKA BUK) systems were sent to Syria. Those are made to work together: SA-17 to intercept high flying targets like bombers and jet-fighters (50 km range for targets like F-15) and SA-22 against the low flying ones like cruise missiles etc (can hit a target with a zero attitude). I don't think that ISIS has anything of that...
